SODEMI is committed to having a global vision and operation supported by local action on the territory. Operating locally means understanding the specific needs of the customer and the territory in which it operates and adapting to the needs that this requires.
Founded in 1984, SODEMI started its activity in the field of flexible surface abrasive, accumulating 25 years of experience. With the advent of the second generation, the company has embarked on a new path, exploring international opportunities to expand its product range. The primary objective is the internationalization of the figure of the sales agent, offering new overseas partners the opportunity to distribute SODEMI products on the European territory through a widespread sales network.
In 2007, SODEMI started fruitful collaborations in the extruded aluminum sector with Chinese and Indian companies. These partnerships, consolidated over time, have elevated SODEMI to become the main European channel partner of Hindalco Aluminium Ltd, one of the largest global producers of primary aluminium and semi-finished products.
In 2015, with consolidated successes, we felt the importance of strengthening our commercial activity in Spain, Portugal and German-speaking countries. We have strengthened our local presence with dedicated collaborators, ensuring a more efficient and personalized service for our customers.
In a context of globalised markets, large overseas industrial groups have recognised the need to establish a strong European presence. The creation of a local operational structure allows for a more fluid interaction with customers, overcoming the linguistic, logistical and cultural barriers that can arise between different regions and countries.
The post anti-dumping duties, the current international scenarios and the current global commodity panorama forces us to change our action on a daily basis, with the awareness that this is not only and exclusively a period of global uncertainty, but that this represents the new normality in which all operators in the sector need to adapt in order to survive.

You can request the aluminum you need without having to place a minimum order, and SODEMI finances the aluminum while waiting for its use by you. This gives you more flexibility and allows you to reduce the risk of holding excessive stock.
